The Surrey Coalition is run and managed by disabled people for disabled people. The aim of the Surrey Coalition is to campaign and promote the rights of disabled people to have equality of opportunity and to live independently.
Surrey Coalition members meet quarterly in their local areas at the 4 Disability Empowerment Network Surrey groups, to influence services provided in their areas and hear about new ones. The East Disability Empowerment Network (DENS) meets quarterly to provide disabled people the opportunity to raise any issues they may have and also to give feedback to those involved in designing and delivering local services.
This is a small and friendly group and those that attend network and discuss issues with each other. They welcome new members from the East Surrey area. Transport, tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. Meetings will take place at YMCA East Surrey Princes Road, Redhill, RH1 6JJ from 11am-1pm Monday 9 th December.
If you would like to join this group please contact Yasmin Broome from Surrey Coalition of Disabled People on or phone/text 078455267424.
